Being a future grad from graduate school in just a few short weeks, my future without school is coming near. The future looks bright and I have so many possibilities. However, the thought of change and newness is exciting but also scary. As I was looking over apartment prices in the area I’m thinking of relocating to I was astounded at the cost of living. I then began to start fear not being able to make my loan payments, insurance payments and even rent. Fear started developing on my heart. Have you ever been so excited about the future God is calling you to, but when it starts to become a reality fear of the unknown comes in? I feel like this is a struggle for many young people who are in the middle of transition. Change is hard, but it is also something that God uses to help equip us and become the young ladies he has called us to be. So if God is calling us to a certain place do you think we should be fearful of where he is calling us? God speaks it simply in his word. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 God clearly states do not be fearful about the future he is with you! You will not be moving into your next season of life by yourself God will be walking with you through it. He also says “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6: 34. So my sweet friend, if you are like me and you are about to launch into the swimming pool of adventure and unknowns, take heart GOD IS WITH YOU! So do not let the enemy rob you of the joy God is bringing into your life about your new opportunities. Instead rejoice and take each day at a time, knowing that God will supply all of your needs.
